BROOKFIELD - At the 111th annual General Federation of Women's Club state convention in Brookfield, new state officers were installed for the 2008-2010 term, including Kathy Reffue and Mary Schmidt, both of Monroe.
New officers are: Marianne Potter, Plover, president; Susanne Way, Oconomowoc, director of junior clubs; Gerri Strege, Hartland, first vice president; Ellen Weber, Williams Bay, second vice president; Reffue, Monroe, recording secretary; Schmidt, Monroe, corresponding secretary; and Diane Cychosz, Stevens Point, treasurer.
The Monroe Woman's Club received a first place Certificate of Achievement for: Home Life, Dollars and Sense - Identity Theft Program.
