Woman's Club to hold 'Badger Honor Flight' program

MONROE - Monroe Woman's Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 in Wesley Hall at the Monroe Arts Center.

The program, "Badger Honor Flight," will be presented by Steve Bartlett, Badger Honor Flight public relations director. Service program co-chairs, Sue Armstrong and Monica Schneider, and their committee, arranged for the program.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Green County and Language Enriched Exercise Plus Socialization will be the recipients of the Community Improvement Project donations.

During the January and February meetings, Green Haven Family Advocates and Shakespeare on the Edge were presented with CIP donations. A contribution was also given to Jacob's SWAG Foundation and Tyler's TEAM Foundation to help support the events that are presented to the schools. This year's presentation, "Bullying Beyond The Schoolyard: Preventing Cyberbullying," will be presented on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18.
