MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department has openings in Winter Playtime which meets from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Fridays, beginning Oct. 10, through Friday, Jan. 23. at the Community Center. Winter Playtime is for children 3 to 5 years of age who are potty trained.
The objectives of Winter Playtime are to have the children learn how to follow the rules, share, listen, get along with others and make new friends, while having fun. This program includes free play, crafts, songs, story and games. The cost to participate is $55 for residents and $62 for non-residents. The instructors are Lisa Zettle and the Parks and Recreation Staff. Register by calling the Parks and Recreation office at 329-2460.
