ALBANY - Novice crafters can make a do-it-yourself wine glass lampshade at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., Albany.
The library will provide the craft paper, glue, tape, scissors and lampshade template.
There is no cost to attend, but participants must provide the wine glasses as the library will have only a few extras on hand. Many thrift stores and dollar stores carry inexpensive wine glasses that will work for this craft, according to the news release. As many lampshades can be made as the number of wine glasses brought.
Registration is due by the end of the day Monday by calling 608-862-3491 or emailing albanypl@tds.net.
