DARLINGTON — Molly Wiegel has accepted the position of chief operating officer of the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. 

This position became available after Kathy Kuepers was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in August. 

Wiegel was promoted from MHLC finance manager and brings a business aspect to administration, which compliments Kuepers’ operations background. 

Not only has Wiegel played a key role in the revenue cycle and systems implementation, but she also brings a positive energy to the hospital and clinics.
