MADISON - Logan Wells, Monroe, was awarded the Outstanding Sophomore Award from the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association.
Wells was one of 10 students within the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences to receive the award. The sophomores who received the award demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership and service to the university and their community.
Students received a $2,000 scholarship and join an elite group that represents the "who's who" in the university science and agriculture communities.
Wells, the son of Kevin and Chris Wells, is a forest science major.
