Wedding: Whitehead-Blue

Ethan and Natalie Blue
Natalie Whitehead and Ethan Blue, Rhinelander, were united in marriage on Dec. 28, 2012 at Turner Hall, Monroe, with Larry Elliott, uncle of the groom, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Norman and Vickie Whitehead, Monroe. She was given away in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Micki Kaster, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carole Janssen, Jocelyn Smith and Kasey Signer, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Lauryn Shank, niece of the groom. The bride wore an ivory color satin traditional dress that was the bride's grandma's dress from 1945. The bridesmaids wore eggplant purple satin contemporary dresses.

The groom is the son of Elaine Blue, Monroe, and Don Blue, Brodhead. Best man was Derek Larson, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Schwartz, Ben Lindsey, both friends of the groom, and Ryan Whitehead, brother of the bride. The groom were a black tuxedo with an ivory vest and tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with eggplant purple vests and ties.

The soloist was Jessica Blue, sister of the groom. Candlelighters were the mothers of the couple.

A reception was held at Turner Hall, Monroe.

The bride is a Monroe High School graduate. She received a bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a a degree at the Salon Professional Academy, Eau Claire. The bride is currently a massage therapist.

The groom is a Monroe High school graduate. He received a bachelor's degree at UW-Whitewater and a master's degree at UW-Stout. He is currently an IT professor at Nicolet Technical College, Rhinelander.

The couple resides in Rhinelander.
