Suzanne Waltz and Kim Godfrey, both of Monroe, were united in marriage May 30, 2009. Jeffrey Ingebritson performed the 3 p.m. ceremony in the Monroe Arts Center. The bride is the daughter of Loretta Waltz, Stitzer, and the late John Waltz. The groom is the son of the late Raymond Godfrey and Esther (Godfrey) Hanson, formerly of Argyle.
Maid of honor was Nicole Waltz, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Theresa Kaiser and Margaret Sprague, sisters of the bride.
Best man was Robert Bartels. Groomsmen were Roger Godfrey and Dwayne Godfrey, brothers of the groom.
Darwin Johnson, nephew of the groom, and John Waltz, brother of the bride, served as ushers. Pam Wyss was soloist, accompanied by Jennifer Bowen. Jennifer Kaiser attended the guest book and Connie Rollins was the personal attendant.
Their reception was held at Turner Hall, Monroe. The couple went on a trip to Door County in September.
