Wedding: Soden-Moreau

Cory Soden and Jim Moreau were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 2008. The ceremony was held at Springbrook Chapel in Burnett, with the Rev. Ronald Hulvey presiding. Parents of the bride are Victor Soden and Terry Richardson of Monroe. Parents of the groom are James and Marilyn Moreau of Niagara, Wis.

Maid of honor was Holly Soden, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ryann Scott, cousin of the bride and Samantha Herheim, friend of the bride. Flower girls were Morgan and Jacey Moreau, nieces of the groom.

Best man was Joe Moreau, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Mark Moreau, cousin of the groom and Chad Abel, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Ryan Moreau, nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at the Palace Reception Hall in Burnett.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Monroe High School. She earned her degrees in business and Spanish from University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is working toward certification as a senior professional in human resources. She is employed as the employment and organizational development associate at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Niagara High School and a 1992 graduate of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich., with a degree in mechanical engineering. Since 1999 he is the co-owner and vice president of Northwoods Paper Converting in Beaver Dam.

The couple reside in Beaver Dam with their two cats, Zeek and Nova.

They will take their honeymoon in March to Grand Lake, Colo., where they were engaged in 2006.
