Wedding: Schaeffer-Winden

Tricia Schaeffer, daughter of Gregory and Diane Schaeffer, Kenosha, and Jeffrey Winden, son of David and Dolores Winden, Blanchardville, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. April 25, 2009, in Siebert Chapel at Carthage College in Kenosha by the Rev. Harvard Stephens.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Gregory Schaeffer. Ben Kuttler and Ali Walker were soloists and accompanists.

Matron of honor was Missy Herman. Bridesmaids were Farrah Sonnenberg, Rebecca Sagedal and Diane Schneider.

Best man was Ryan Herman. Groomsmen were Jason Sonnenberg, Brent Sagedal, Scott Schneider and Marty Schager. Ushers were Jack Prall and Chris Bergschneider. Ring bearers were Hunter Sagedal, Ty Sagedal and Jack Sagedal.

The bride's personal attendant was Britt DeVusic.

Dolores Winden and Diane Schaeffer, mothers of the bride and groom, served as candlelighters.

Their reception, held at the Radisson in Pleasant Prairie, was catered by DeRosa Catering.

The couple went on a trip to Colorado Springs, Colo., in early August.

The bride is a graduate of Bradford High School, Kenosha, and Carthage College, Kenosha.

The groom is a graduate of Pecatonica High School, Blanchardville, and Carthage College, Kenosha.

Both the bride and groom are teachers in the Kenosha Unified School District.

The bride chose a Casablanca gown with a strapless neckline and an A-line silhouette. The dropped waistline was a satin, champagne waistband. The gown featured netting with a beaded lace overlay.

The bridesmaids wore Bill Levkoff taffeta dresses of champagne colored taffeta with a maroon colored waistband sash.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with ivory shirt, vest and tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with ivory shirts and champagne vests and ties.

The couple resides in Kenosha.
