Jill and Paul Berg
Jill Suzanne Olson and Paul Leo Berg were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at St. John's U.C.C., Monroe, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sylvan and Jan Olson, Monticello. The groom is the son of David and Diane Berg, Menomonee Falls.

The bride wore an ivory, strapless gown of bridal satin.

Her matron of honor was Dana Olson, sister-in-law. Her bridesmaids were Andrea McSherry, friend of the bride, and Julie Berg, sister of the groom. The junior bridesmaids were Natalie Faith, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids wore pomegranate satin strapless floor-length dresses.

The flower girls were Molly Olson, niece/goddaughter of the bride, and Sophia Friebel, goddaughter of the groom. The flower girls wore ivory dresses to match the bride's.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with an ivory vest. The best man was Jeffrey Friebel, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Mark Olson, brother of the bride, and Paul Warning, friend of the groom. The junior groomsman was Alex Peglow, cousin/godson of the groom. The ushers were Matt Berg, cousin of the groom; Scott Berg, cousin of the groom; Casey Kehoe, cousin/godson of the bride; and Joel Faith, cousin of the bride. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with pomegranate vests.

Dana Kehoe, cousin of the bride, handed out programs. The pianist was Elizabeth Tomczyk and the trumpeter was Megan Jordan, who accompanied singers Urs Gafner, Doug Seaver, Dave Gietzel and Rick Ritschard.

Catherine Kehoe, Tery Faith and Tracy Berg, cousins of the couple, served as personal attendant, guest book and scripture reader.

The reception was held after the ceremony at Turner Hall, Monroe, where dinner was served with surprise Swiss entertainment. Music for dancing was provided by the Stateline Playboys.

The couple honeymooned in the Black Hills, S.D.

The couple resides near Monticello.
