Kayla Marie McNett and Michael Alan Smiley were united in marriage, August 7, 2010 at the home of the groom's grandparents, Al and Sally Packard, of Lena. Pastor Eric Erickson performed an outdoor ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Parents of the couple are Jeff And Vicki McNett, Monroe, Rick Smiley, Monroe; and Jackie Calam, Freeport.

Maid of honor was Halee McNett, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Erin Wagner, Megan Grinnell, Alicia Foulker; Stephanie Hoover, sister of the groom; and Trisha Kuehl, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Dan Smiley, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Chris Martinez, Brian Espinosa, Dustin Pontack, Ryan Hastings, and Chad Bawden - all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Richie Copus and Nathan George. Flower girls were Isabella Anspaugh and Adriana Anspaugh, cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Austin Smiley, nephew of the groom. The Junior Groomsman was Chris Smiley, brother of the groom. The soloist was Kai Andrews and accompanied by Dennis Dregne.

The receptionist was held at the Ludlow Mansion, Monroe. The couple honeymooned in Door County.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Monroe High School. She is the assistant manager of Papa Murphy's, Monroe.

The groom is a drywaller, finisher and painter for the Local 802 Union, Monroe.
