Wedding: Hasler-Thorn

Tim Hasler and Nicki Thorn were united in marriage Oct. 2, 2010 at Allen Centennial Gardens, Madison, The Rev. Larry Pinnow, retired pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Monroe, performed the 1:15 p.m. ceremony. Parents of the groom are Mary Jo Hasler, Monroe, and the late Fred Hasler.

The bride wore a contemporary ivory lace gown and the groom wore a black tuxedo. Demetrius Duarte, nephew of the bride, presented the bride.

Matron of honor was Lisa Duarte, and maid of honor was Jen Alcorn. Bridesmaids were Sidney Miller, Jessica Hanson, Laura Mogden, Ashely Baker, April Behrens, Andrea Hasler, Jennifer Meyer and Emily Hillman. The bridesmaids wore wine-colored gowns.

Best man was Adam Lindsey. Groomsmen were Mike Zeininger, Tom Nies, Ian Hendrickson, Isaac Mayer, Josh Steiner, Brant Vogel, Larry Meyer, Scott Smith, and Tyler Smith. Groomsmen wore black tuxedos.

Ushers were Scott Watson and Nick Uglow. Flower girl was Brianna Meyer, niece of the groom, and ringbearer was Austin Meyer, nephew of the groom.

Kim and Corrie Smith, aunt and uncle/godparents of the groom, attended the guest book. Kristin Ehster was the personal attendant. Readers were Penny Marak, aunt/godmother of the bride, and Corey and Jim Smith, uncles of the groom.

Their reception was held at Madison Marriott West, Middleton. The couple went to Aruba on their wedding trip.

The bride, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a 2001 graduate of Kennedy High School, Cedar Rapids, and attended Kirkwood College to become a paramedic specialist. She is employed in sales with Wells Fargo, Rochester, Minn., and is also a photographer.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Monroe High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a degree in dairy science and agronomy. He is a district sales manager with Agrigold Hybrids, Minnesota.

They currently live in Rochester, Minn.
