Wedding: Bartels

Emily Bausman, daughter of Hollis and Joanne Bausman, and Nick Bartels, son of Irv and Connie Bartels, were united in marriage Aug. 22, 2009 in St. Victor Catholic Church, Monroe, with Father Mike Klarer officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Music was provided by Devan Brugger, soloist, and Kevin Laufenberg, accompanist.

Maid of honor was Megan Bausman, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Holly Nilles, Ashley Kimball, and bridesman was Cory Brooks. Taylor Whalen, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Best man was Brandon Foster and groomsmen were Mike Bartels, Jim Bartels and Curt Bartels, brothers of the groom. Tim Huffman and Eric Wild were ushers.

The bride wore a traditional ivory gown with a beaded lace sheath and ribbon waist detail. The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown short satin off-the-shoulder A-line dresses.

The groom, groomsmen and bridesman wore black tuxedos with black shirts and chocolate brown vests and ties.

Their reception was held at Ludlow Mansion. They went to Wisconsin Dells on their wedding trip and now reside in Monroe.

The bride is a teacher and coach at Cuba City High School.

The groom is self-employed with Bartels Sandblasting and Restoration.
