MONROE - Department of Natural Resources conservation warden Nick Webster, Monroe, was honored recently for his outstanding law enforcement activities during 2007 in the field of public relations.
Webster, whose area of responsibility covers Green County, was chosen as tops among his peers in DNR's 11-county South Central Region for his communications and education programs including school presentations, teaching outdoor skills, media relations and working with outdoor groups.
"Although Nick is relatively new to Green County, he is rapidly developing an excellent rapport with schools, youth groups, sport clubs, civic organizations, the general citizenry and news media in this crucial area of conservation law enforcement," said warden supervisor Chuck Horn, Dodgeville.
