MONROE - Monroe Garden Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Behring Senior Center of Monroe.

Arla Thompson, of WEKZ, and Sally Bear, member and master gardener, will give the garden project, "The Drip System for Watering Versus Spraying." A plant exchange will also be held.

The annual greenhouse tour is planned for Thursday, May 13, and members will plant flowers at the Green County Historical Museum and at the library Thursday, May 20.

Members are selling cookbooks from which proceeds were used for a wheelchair planting table for Pleasant View and a donation is planned for the Veterans Memorial Park. The 500-recipe cookbook can be purchased from any member or by calling 325-3321. New members always welcome by calling (608) 934-5430.
