MILWAUKEE - Walmart has announced it will sponsor a 2009 Military Recognition Day celebrating active duty servicemen, servicewomen and military veterans during the Wisconsin State Fair. The special daylong event will be Sunday, Aug. 16.
Veterans and military personnel (active duty, guard and reserves) will receive a $3 discount off the State Fair adult admission price with special coupons available at any of the 83 Walmart stores in Wisconsin. The coupons can be redeemed any day of the 2009 Wisconsin State Fair before 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 16, in West Allis.
Discount coupons will be available to those with valid military credentials at the customer service counters of all Wisconsin Walmart Stores.
