Walk for Awareness is Oct. 10

MONROE - The second annual Walk for Awareness 2015, a walk to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer, is set for Oct. 10 at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy.

The event is open to all who would like to join the fight against pancreatic cancer are invited to attend this event. Walk for Awareness, will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through supporting patients, heightening awareness, raising funds for comprehensive private research, and

advocating for dedicated federal research to advance early diagnostics, better treatments and increased chances of survival.
