Waelti joins Prudential Midwest Realty office

MONROE - Sherry Waelti, Monroe, has joined Prudential Midwest Realty, 326 Sixth Street, Monroe, as a sales consultant, as announced by owner Aubra Palermo. Waelti will be responsible for assisting homebuyers and sellers with all aspects of the buying and selling process while focusing on residential and commercial real estate sales.

Waelti brings with her more than 25 years of business experience. She was the previous owner of the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio on the Monroe Square. Over the years, she has taught sales and business concepts to small businesses.

Sherry and her husband John returned to Monroe in 2008. Prior to her return, Waelti was a Senior Flight attendant for an American based airline that transported military troops around the world before and during the Iraq war, focusing primarily on Middle East flights.

Her responsibilities were for the operations, safety and service in order to provide the safest and best service possible to the military troops and crews members.

During her six years of service, Waelti was required to perform life-saving measures. She received the highest honor for her courage, leadership and decision-making skills.
