MONROE - The Green County Veterans Memorial Park Inc. received a grant from the Clifford and Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund of the Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin Inc., for a Vietnam veterans bronze plaque.
The plaque was dedicated on Nov. 15 at the Memorial Park, located at the Pleasant View Park Complex. Also contributing to the plaque were Wisconsin Vietnam Chapter 3, New Glarus VFW Post 10549, Brodhead American Legion and MOC Pup Tent 14.
The Clifford and Dorothy Reasa Charitable Fund of the Monroe Fund is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of communities. Grants from this fund have supported the arts, education, health and human services, environment and historical preservation.
