MONROE - The Green County Veterans Memorial Park has received a grant from the Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Fund of Southern Wisconsin Inc., for the "Hall of Honor" pavilion to install four security cameras and electrical work to hook the cameras up.

The park has been developed over the years and the cameras will help provide necessary safety features to protect the investment of the memorials, plaques, helicopter, bricks and pavilion, etc.

This grant is made available from the Community Foundation's Monroe Fund. The Monroe Fund is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of area communities.
