SOUTH WAYNE - The Black Hawk School District will be hosting a Veteran's Day program on Nov. 11. Local veterans and community members are welcome to attend.
The school district will be offering coffee, muffins and juice to all local veterans at 8:30 a.m. The program will begin at 9 a.m. with musical performances and poetry readings by Black Hawk students.
Guest speaker is Michael Furgal, VFW Post 2312. Furgal served in the Vietnam War with the United States Marine Corps.
