What’s a Cash Mob?

Woodford State Bank has been hosting Cash Mobs for businesses since 2018. A Cash Mob is a way to help local businesses grow and keep communities thriving. Each month, Woodford State Bank chooses a local business to mob and that business gets to pick their favorite organization to donate a portion of the proceeds for the day.

There is a “cash drop” designated at a certain time where money is given away to either spend at the business or donate to the organization. These “cash mobs” are promoted on social media.

This supports the business, the organization, and the local community.

The next Cash Mob will be at Amy’s Corner Café in Monroe on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
