MONROE - Union Presbyterian Church will host its annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Bake Sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the church, 2707 5th St.
The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes baked by the Albany Lions Club, sausage, cheese, applesauce, milk, juice and coffee.
The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 12 and children under 3 eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the church office, from church members or at the door the night of the supper. Carry-outs and drive-up service will be available. Proceeds from the pancake supper will benefit the mission of Union Presbyterian Church. Bake sale proceeds go to support the youth summer mission trip.
The church will also have an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 5. The service will include the opportunity for Imposition of Ashes. A soup and bread meal will precede worship at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
