PLATTEVILLE - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of Liberal Arts and Education awarded scholarships to a number of students.
Area award winners include: Savannah Bettin, Monticello, who won the music scholarship; Timothy Farrell, Blanchardville, who won the William H. "Billy" Williams Memorial Scholarship and criminal justice scholarship; Kyle James, Darlington, who won the Thomas Hickey Theater Performance Award; Savanna Kaster, Browntown, who won the Liberal Arts and Education Alumni Scholarship; Sarah Kloepping, Juda, who won the art department scholarship; Katie Loken, Darlington, who won the Bernard G. "Bunny" Dillon Music Scholarship; and Anna Sherman, Brodhead, who won the Jean S. Fricke Criminal Justice Scholarship and Boyd Spikerman Memorial Scholarship.
