Union Presbyterian Church pancake supper and bake sale is tomorrow

MONROE - Union Presbyterian Church will host its annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the church, 2707 5th St.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes baked by the Albany Lions Club, sausage, cheese, applesauce, milk, juice and coffee.

The cost is $6 for adults; $3 for children ages 3 to 12; and children under 3 eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the church office, from church members or at the door the night of the supper. Carry-outs and drive-up service will be available at the south west door by the wooden railings. Tickets are also available at the drive-up.

Proceeds from the pancake supper will benefit the mission of Union Presbyterian Church. Bake sale proceeds go to support the youth summer mission trip.

Ash Wednesday service will be at 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 13. The service will include Communion and the opportunity for Imposition of Ashes. A luncheon will follow in Fellowship Hall. The service is open to the public.
