MONROE - Recently Tyler's TEAM Foundation brought author and speaker Ryan Haack into the Green County area elementary schools.
Haack, from Verona, has had one hand since he was born in 1977 missing his left forearm.
He was a regular child who loved sports and got into trouble from time to time. He tries to help people realize they are valuable and spoke to the students about how everybody is unique.
Haack spoke to more than 2,400 students and staff in the area. He traveled to schools in Albany, Black Hawk, New Glarus, Brodhead, Juda, Monticello and Pecatonica-Hollandale and to Parkside, Northside and Abraham Lincoln elementary schools in Monroe.
Haack's presentation would not have been possible without the community's continued support to Tyler's TEAM Foundation, which fully funded these presentations.
