Two receive HCE scholarship

MONROE — Green County Home and Community Education (HCE) is happy to announce the winners of this year’s high school scholarships.  The two students that have been awarded scholarships are Linnea Tabaka of Monroe High School and Wyatt Visger of Brodhead High School.

Tabaka is the daughter of John and Christine Tabaka. She participates in many activities including Junior Optimists, 4-H, National Honor Society, Key Club, AFS Club, band, swimming and various church and community service activities. Tabaka will be attending Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and will major in communication sciences and disorders and Spanish.  

Wyatt Visger is the son of Kathy Visger and Mike Visger. He participates in golf, boy scouts, school musicals and teaches music to younger students. Visger will be attending UW-Madison and will double major in physics and education.
