DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee selected Nicole Lewis and Deanna Wright, both of Gratiot, for employee health care grants totaling $600 at the Oct. 20 MHF meeting.
The recipients exemplified educational and community requirements. Lewis has worked as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County since 2005 and is currently the Emergency Department manager. She applied for the MHF Employee Grant to attend a Medhost Summit for electronic health records.
Wright has worked at MHL since 2007 as a registered nurse and currently is the clinical application specialist. She applied for the MHF Employee Grant to attend a Medhost Summit for electronic health records.
MHF offers grant money to hospital employees for continuing education, meetings and classes that are not covered by Lafayette County. Its mission is to support and promote Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County through the endowment of new and existing services, scholarships and capital improvements.
