BLANCHARDVILLE/HOLLANDALE - Two benefits will be held in April for Jaden Goninen, a Pecatonica School District student with cancer.
From 8 a.m. until about 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5, individuals and families can attend Dodging for Team Jaden, a dodge ball tournament, at the gym at Pecatonica High School. There will be food concessions available during the event. Six divisions will play throughout the day.
The second benefit is scheduled at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at Countryside Lanes, 1255 County F, Hollandale. The Jaden Goninen Benefit Auction/Music, sponsored by the Pecatonica Lutheran Parish, will feature items including a framed print by Randy Larson, gift baskets, quilt and craft items, a painted chair by Sally Schaller, a basket with baby items and baked goods.
Monetary contributions can be made to Woodford State Bank, Blanchardville.
