Tuls named WWA board member

MADISON — The Wisconsin Water Alliance announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors Oct. 14: Lee Nerison, a retired farmer and former state lawmaker; and T.J. Tuls, a resident of Rock County and chief operations officer of Tuls Dairies.  

T.J. Tuls is a fourth generation dairy farmer. He grew up learning the industry on his family’s dairy farm in Nebraska; today, he manages Rock Prairie Dairy near Janesville and Pinnacle Dairy in Brodhead. His father, Todd Tuls, is the owner of Pinnacle Dairy on 127 acres along County FF and Decatur-Sylvester Road in Sylvester Township. The concentrated animal feeding operation holds nearly 6,000 cows.

Lee Nerison is a retired farmer and former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. During his time in the Legislature, Lee was a leader on issues impacting agriculture and the environment – chairing the Assembly Committee on Agriculture and serving on the Committee on Natural Resources. He resides in Westby in Vernon County.
