MONROE - What can new entrepreneurs learn from successful businessmen? At the November Green County Area Entrepreneurs and Inventors meeting attendees will get to meet the "TriDaves" - Dave Mosher of Dave Mosher & Associates, Dave Babler of Babler & Associates and Dave Smith of Compensation Systems and find out how these men were able to not only develop successful businesses but to also how they shared resources through the years for savings in their companies. The meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the Monroe Clinic Hospital's New Glarus Room, 515 22nd Avenue, Monroe. The event is free to the public and refreshments are served.

Dave Mosher is a successful business man and active community volunteer. In 1994 he became owner of Gordee Insurance Agency and in 2000 he merged Gordee Insurance Agency with BNG Insurance to form Dave Mosher & Associates, with locations in Monroe, Argyle, New Glarus and Evansville. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, he has received the Charter Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant degrees from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

David A. Babler, an insurance and financial professional, took over his father's insurance agency in September of 1971. Before taking over the agency Dave was a Peace Corp volunteer in Costa Rica, an assistant to the Dean of the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp.

And Dave Smith is the owner of Compensation Systems, a pension and profit sharing plan administrator for companies seeking these services. Compensation Systems has approximate annual revenue of over $500,000, according to the Wisconsin Yellow Pages web site.

These three men are involved in the community and in their businesses. But they also know the importance of a frugal mindset and were able to share resources, such as a building and a domain name. Come learn from their successes, mistakes and working relationship. Networking among attendees will be encouraged in the evening's program. "Our hope is that business people will be able to network and strengthen our economic community," said Anna Schramke, CEcD, executive director of GCDC.
