NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Public Library is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Star Trek with a special screening at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 of "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan."
In addition to the film, the event will feature themed refreshments such as Galaxy Cake, Beam-Me-Up Scotchies, Romulan Ale and hot, buttered Prime Directive popcorn. There also will be a door prize drawing for a chance to win a collectible Tribble. Costumes are encouraged.
The film is rated PG and is one hour, 53 minutes long. The library is at 319 2nd St.
