MCCONNELL - All are invited to attend the Allis Chalmers Jamboree on July 19 and 20 at 8641 N. Flansburg Road, just west of McConnell. A large selection of AC tractors and machinery will be on display as well as live combining, threshing, baling and plowing demonstrations. Food and drinks served at the lunch stand both days with old time music for enjoyment.
A Tractor Ride to Lake-Le-Aqua Na State Park will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday followed by the Tractormen's Supper at the church in McConnell.
A tractor parts auction will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday. To list items, call (815) 275-5709. Children's activities include a kiddy tractor pull, barrel races and other fun things.
