MONROE - Family Storytimes return to the Monroe Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, when Kristen Ault, Youth Services Librarian, presents "Scare Those Crows!"

Children ages 3 to 8 and their caring adults are invited to attend the half hour program. The featured story will be "The Scarecrow's Hat" by Ken Brown. Chicken admires Scarecrow's straw hat and Scarecrow would eagerly swap his hat for a walking stick. Chicken doesn't have a walking stick, but she knows someone who does.

This Family Storytime will also include other books, songs and rhymes, and a craft project for children and adults. For more information, contact the library's Youth Services Department at 328-7010.
