FREEPORT - The Borderline Arts Coalition, a regional volunteer collaboration of non-profit performing arts groups, announced the initiation of a joint project, "The Cheddar Curtain." The show is written locally by four playwrights, John Buford, Orangeville, Ill.; Jay Donaldson, Freeport, Ill.; Frank McCann, Elizabeth; and Peter Woodruff, Elizabeth. The play will be directed and performed by four local community theatres: Back Street Players (Hanover, Ill.), Mighty Richland Players (Orangeville), Plum River Playhouse (Stockton, Ill.), and Winneshiek Playhouse (Freeport.)
