MONROE - Students in grades six to 12 are invited to participate in a Week of Great Book Reviews at Monroe Public Library as part of the 11th annual "Teen Read Week, October 12-18." The staff at Monroe Public Library encourages teens to celebrate this year's theme, "Books with Bite @ your library®." Teen Read Week.
Studies show a regular reading habit increases reading proficiency.
That's why Monroe Public Library Youth Services staff invites teens who have read a great book to write an awesome, exciting, exhilarating, thrilling, motivating book review. The staff will read the reviews and post them for others to read.
Book Review forms are available at your school IMC or at Monroe Public Library Children's Room. Reviewers will automatically be entered into a drawing for a teen prize.
Reviews are due by Saturday, Oct. 18, to the "BRAG BOX" in the Children's Room at Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Avenue, Monroe.
