ALBANY - Lillian Horn, daughter of Douglas and Jessica Horn, Brooklyn, will travel to and spend a month in Japan as part of the 4-H International Exchange.
Starting July 6, Lillian, who will be a junior at Albany High School this fall, will spend a month with Mako Makino and family in Tokyo, Japan. Last year, Horn was the host sister to Mako here in Wisconsin.
Additionally, Mako's aunt was host sister to Horn's aunt when the two were younger.
The program, coordinated through the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension, brings Japanese and Korean youth to Wisconsin 4-H homes and sends 4-H'ers to Japan and Korea on a yearly basis.
