MONROE — The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program sponsored AARP is now taking appointments for income tax assistance. VITA provides free income tax assistance by preparing income tax returns for low to moderate income, disabled and elderly persons. Call Green County ADRC at 608-328-9499 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are held in Brodhead on Mondays, in Monroe on Wednesdays and in Albany on several Fridays during the tax season.
