Josh Trame, Park Supervisor for Monroe Parks & Recreation Department, organized an Arbor Day event with the Parkside Elementary School first-grade classes at Twining Park April 26.

The event included the reading of the proclamation by Mayor Louis Armstrong, planting three trees at Twining Park, the students planting taking home their own tree seed, a scavenger hunt and learning about trees.
