BRODHEAD — To honor April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a family event presented by the Wisconsin Sexual Assault Recovery Program will take place from 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 23 at Putnam Park in Brodhead. The rain date is the following day.
It is a family event aimed at inspiring conversations and thoughtful discussion. Topics will include education on sexual violence, human trafficking, myths and warning signs to look out for. There will be emotional staff support in attendance available to speak to anyone at any time.
