MONROE - Commemorative T-shirts of the surprise stop in Monroe made by members of the Green Bay Packers football team May 16 are available for pre-order at Monroe Parks and Recreation and the Behring Senior Center. The stop was part of the team's 2013 Tailgate Tour. While in Monroe, current and former Packers team members played bingo with senior citizens and built a playground at Lincoln Park.
Cost for the shirts are $10 for youth sizes and $15 for adult sizes. Youth sizes available are 10/12 and 14/16. Adult sizes available are small, medium, large, XL, 2XL and 3XL. T-shirts must be paid for at time of order. Monroe Parks and Recreation
T-shirt sale proceeds will go to the playground surfacing materials and cement to complete the Lincoln Park project. Behring Senior Center proceeds will go to the new computer lab at the Senior Center.
Orders will be taken until Friday, June 7.
