MONROE - The Gavin Breadon Memorial Swim Meet will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 20, at the Monroe pool. Alumni are welcome to compete in the swim meet. There will also be a silent auction of beautiful hand blown glass art pieces donated by Eoin Breadon. Art pieces include four glass ball ornaments, Salmon bowl, two-tone vase, Twilight single stem vase, large pumpkin, small pumpkin and a Bowl of Fire. Also available for silent bid are donations made possible by local businesses including, "Chrissa," American Girl's Doll of the Year dressed in a swim suit, swim cap, goggles, a book and movie. The movie includes helpful tips on how to stand up to bullying. Black Tie Tuxedos 4U has donated a tanning package and baskets have been donated from Jim and Veronica Bruce family and Mary Kay Consultant Joanne Weeden.
