MONROE - The Monroe Public Library Summer Reading Program for all ages begins Monday.

Children and adults can join the library for a hero-themed reading program that includes special events. Children from birth through elementary school can be Hereos-in-Training and Super Readers and help build a "superhero city" by reading. Teens and adults will review books for prizes, and teens will celebrate with a superhero party at the end of the summer.

In addition to storytimes and regular preschool programs, the library will offer a weekly Lego Club and weekly special events and activities at the library for children of all ages.

All programs are free. Registration is required for certain events. To register or for more information, contact the library at 608-328-7010 or visit www.monroepubliclibrary.org.
