FREEPORT - Freeport Choral Society's annual Summer Pops Concert will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, at Krape Park's Koenig Amphitheater. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to St. John United Church of Christ, 1010 S. Park Boulevard, Freeport. David Gutschlag directs the group with Carole Bertram playing keyboard.
The concert will include a wide variety of musical styles and genres. The women of the choir are featured in the 1957 "My Special Angel" while the men sing the Hank Williams 1951 pop number "Hey, Good Lookin'."
