NEW GLARUS — Six choir students from New Glarus High School have been selected to participate in the 69th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa Jan. 13-14. 

They will join 1,100 high school students from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa where they will rehearse music with the renowned director, Andrew Last, and perform in the grand concert on Monday evening, held in the Auditorium at Luther College’s Center for Faith and Life. They will also attend a concert on Sunday night. Performing at this concert will be St. Michael-Albertville Concert Choir underneath the direction of Joseph Osowski, and Aurora and Norsemen, the two Luther College first-year choirs, Luther College has one of the largest liberal arts undergraduate music programs in the United States. 

Selected from New Glarus High School to attend the Dorian Vocal Festival are Hailey Jones, Demarious King, Justin Palmer, Michael Schieldt, Connor Siegenthaler and Lily Tews. The New Glarus High School choir is under the direction of Renee Setterstrom.
