Sophie E. Perry, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Perry, Monroe, received a bachelor of arts degree in literary studies from Beloit College, Beloit, during commencement exercises May 17. She graduated cum laude.

Michelle M. Quade, daughter of David Quade and Dee O. Thompson, Monroe, received a bachelor of arts degree in creative writing from Beloit College, Beloit, during commencement exercises May 17, 2009.

Jessica Krier, Monroe, daughter of Kirk and Nancy Krier, graduated from Blackhawk Technical College, Janesville in May. She earned an associates degree in nursing. Krier received the Outstanding Student Award while at Blackhawk Technical College.
