MONROE - There is still time to sign up for the Campion Memorial Golf Outing, which will be held on Friday, July 8 at the Monroe Country Club.
The event begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $80 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, T-shirt, lunch and prizes.
Reservations for golfers may be made by calling John Miller at (608) 558-3510 or Don Sorn at (608) 325-3247.
In addition, a 50/50 raffle will be held with the proceeds directly benefiting the newly created "Monsignor Thomas F. Campion Charitable Fund."
Raffle tickets are available at Ruf's and Old Smokeys in Monroe.
Net proceeds from the golf outing will be donated to the "Monsignor Thomas F. Campion Charitable Fund," a component of the Southern Wisconsin Community Foundation. The fund's aim is to continue Monsignor Campion's legacy of compassionate giving and loving support to non-profit organizations in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
