MONROE — Neighborhood Health Partners, 1017 17th St., Monroe, is hosting and Sexually Transmitted Disease/Sexually Transmitted Infection (STD/STI) Testing Clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. Anyone is welcome to visit the clinic without an appointment to get tested at little to no cost.

The testing process consists of a vaginal swab or urine test for women, and a urine test for men. If you are a 15-65-year-old U.S. Citizen, resident of Wisconsin, have an individual income of approximately $3,000/month or less, and are not currently on Medicaid, you will likely qualify for the Family Planning Only Services, which will cover all the basic testing at no cost. If you do not meet the criteria for FPOS, the clinic will conduct the Chlamydia and Gonorrhea test for $30.

All services provided are confidential regardless of age and minors do not need parental consent. Individuals can get tested for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV, if so desired.

No appointment is necessary. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Those who cannot attend can schedule an appointment by calling 608-328-9500, as the clinic provides this service during normal business hours with a scheduled appointment.
