Stauffacher receives 4-H leadership scholarship

MADISON - Rebecca Stauffacher, Monroe, was awarded the 4-H Leadership Scholarship for $1,000 from the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation.

Stauffacher is a member of the Clarno 4-H Club in Green County. She was one of three students awarded the leadership scholarship.

The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation awarded $10,000 in scholarships to a dozen exemplary 4-H youth. More than 245 4-H members in their last year of high school or first year of college applied for scholarships in the categories of human ecology, community service, natural resources and environmental education, leadership, agriculture and animal sciences.

Scholarships were awarded through company and individual endowed funds by supporters who share a passion for 4-H and the leadership and life skills it teaches.
